Anastasiia Mishchenko

Anastasiia Mishchenko is a contemporary Ukrainian artist based in Vinnytsia. Her practice is rooted in the landscapes of modern Ukraine, the atmosphere of her native region and a personal perception of place, memory and changing light. Working across landscape and abstraction, Anastasiia transforms familiar views into quiet visual reflections. Fields, rivers, roads, open horizons and fragments of the Ukrainian countryside often become the starting point for works in which observation gradually gives way to colour, rhythm and emotion. Her paintings combine a sense of place with a contemporary visual language, moving between recognisable landscape and abstraction while preserving the emotional character of the environment that inspires them.
